We are seeking skilled Switchgear Technicians to support inspection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MV/HV switchgear and protection systems at industrial facilities and substations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of the Switchgear Engineer while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all electrical activities.
Perform inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of MV/HV switchgear. Carry out circuit breaker mechanical and electrical testing. Perform insulation resistance, contact resistance, and timing tests. Assist with protection relay testing and commissioning activities. Check CT/PT circuits, control wiring, interlocks, and DC systems. Read electrical drawings and identify wiring faults. Support fault diagnosis, equipment restoration, and post-maintenance testing. Maintain testing equipment and site documentation. Follow all electrical safety and company procedures.
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in MV/HV Switchgear maintenance and testing. Practical experience with switchgear, protection systems, and electrical testing. Ability to read electrical drawings and use diagnostic equipment. Experience using insulation testers, multimeters, clamp meters, relay test sets, and circuit breaker analyzers. Good teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work overtime and at project sites when required.
