Current Market / Regulatory Information

GENERAL GUIDANCE — confirm current requirements with MOHRE before finalising a plan

Work permits for the UAE mainland private sector are regulated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), typically processed through its Tas'heel/Work Bundle channels: an employment offer and quota approval, an entry permit, the candidate's UAE medical test, then the labour card and residence steps. Employers are also expected to meet Wage Protection System (WPS) payment compliance and, where applicable, Emiratisation quota requirements. Specific document requirements and fees vary by role, nationality, Emirate and free zone vs. mainland status, and can change — confirm current, case-specific requirements with MOHRE or your ADMANCO contact before finalising a recruitment plan.

General Employer Guidance

Employer Considerations

Confirm the specific Emirate and worksite, since logistics and coordination can vary within the UAE
Bulk/project-based requirements can be phased against project milestones
